Tour De ITV Feedback – July 1st 2014
On Tuesday 1st July, Go Velo worked with ITV and Join In Uk to deliver a charity bike ride for on screen talent from Coronation Street and Emmerdale. The ride went across the Pennines from The Rover’s Return, Manchester to The Woolpack, Emmerdale
Go Velo planned the route and advised on stopping points, risk assessed and escorted the ride and fully insured by Go Velo instructors and ride leaders.
Go Velo provided full support for the event, including mechanical services, first aid, vehicle support including rider rescue and bicycle return. Go Velo offered rider nutrition and pre ride advice and provided bike hire
The ride was a resounding success, with all parties delighted with the professionalism of the crew.

The speed of getting a punctured tyre replaced made the usual take gloves off, get tyre leavers, drop wheel… You know the process usually completed in the rain! Just having someone there to make little tweaks and even just filling up water bottles. You made the whole day so simple all I had to do was to push down on the pedals!”
