This course is for active National Standards Instructors who are currently delivering Bikeability. You must register for the new Level 2 qualification before 31 March 2024 if you want to continue to deliver this training.
The Level 2 Award in Instructor Cycle Training (RPL) will:
Ensure all Bikeability instructors meet the current National Standard for cycle training
Help Bikeability providers make sure their instructor teams can deliver up to date training.
Experienced tutors and assessors will provide support throughout.

To register for the Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) route you must:
Be a currently practising National Standards Instructor (NSI) or National Standards Instructor Trainer (NSIT)
Offer proof of this by providing your NSI/T number when you register for the course.
The course costs £200 (bursary claim), including 1st4Sport registration fee, pre-course materials, assessment and tutor guidance.
Observation of performance can be completed for £150pp including expenses.
