St Peters, Inskip, Preston June 2013

Kirsty, I just wanted to take the time to say a very big thank you for the 2 days we have enjoyed this week!

Everything was absolutely spot on, whether the attitude, expectation or expertise of the three delightful characters you sent to us, I and the children thought it one of the best things we have done in a long time!

I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to you for sending Shaun and Autumn and for the fantastic work they did with the boys here at Stepping Stones.  Shaun and Autumn were amazing with the boys and I can’t praise them enough for how they were with the boys and that they gave them the skills needed to be safer on the road with a bike.  The boys got sooooo much out of the two days they were here.  Please pass on our many, many thanks.  Continue reading

St. Gregory’s primary school

I thought that bikeability was really good. Every single instructor was brilliant at their job and taught us extremely well. I particularly enjoyed doing the left turn then U-turn then left turn then U-turn, but I also enjoyed singing stare 123 signal 123. I have also learnt quite a bit from those 2 days of bikeability and I shall take this on-board whenever I cycle. Continue reading

I have worked with ‘Go Velo’ for two years now and Kirsti has co-ordinated the whole programme from start to finish in a professional manner. She has fulfilled all the targets set for the company and, in fact, exceeded some of them. By the end of this year ‘Go Velo’ will have delivered to 852 Pendle pupils in 27 Pendle schools.’

Bike Maintenance course delivered at Edgehill University

Feedback from Bike Maintenance course delivered at Edgehill University – November 2012

” Before the workshop I was very concerned about doing stuff like taking  a wheel out – now I don’t think twice about ‘dropping’ a rear wheel, even if it’s only for cleaning the bike!

The trainers were very accommodating, answering questions quickly and effectively, covering everything I needed to know on a ‘beginners’ course – and then some! Continue reading

Steve Z… from Maintenance Course

August 2012

Just got home and felt I must drop you both a quick line to say thanks for such a great evening.

It was really good, pleny of really good hints and tips even though I thought I could change a tyre etc. You both made the evening humorous as well as getting a lot of information across (good team). I must try what I have learnt out now and make sure I get it right.
