Location: All Lancashire districts, we cover a large geographical area – flexibility and willingness to travel is essential.
The role: Our aim is to inspire people with a love of cycling by giving them the confidence and skills to cycle more often. Bikeability cycle training is a fun, exciting and practical programme promoting the use of bicycles as an enjoyable form of transport.
Our Instructors work on a casual basis, in pairs or as a team with other Go Velo instructors. The instructing will predominately involve training children in primary schools to Bikeability Level 1 and 2 during school hours, over 4 days in each week. We also deliver a variety of other cycling services to children and adults. Hours are agreed in advance and the work requires an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be paid for by Go Velo Ltd.
You may have experience of the following: Coach, Teacher, Instructor, Trainer, Mentor, Tutor, Lecturer, Guide, Adviser, Educator, Leader, Speaker, Outdoor Education, Cycling, Teaching, Coaching, Instructing.

Successful participants must attend the 4 day instructor course on 4,5,6,7 October 2021, with a view to starting on 11th October.

If you want to promote cycling and sustainable transport or raise money for charity, get Go Velo to come down and support your event with our Ride leaders, pedal powered Smoothy Maker, Dr Bike and Try a Bike roadshow.
