Feedback from Bike Maintenance course delivered at Edgehill University – November 2012
” Before the workshop I was very concerned about doing stuff like taking a wheel out – now I don’t think twice about ‘dropping’ a rear wheel, even if it’s only for cleaning the bike!
The trainers were very accommodating, answering questions quickly and effectively, covering everything I needed to know on a ‘beginners’ course – and then some!
Beginners were made to feel very welcome.
No matter what state your bike is in, you’re sure of a warm welcome at the workshop (as long as it’s clean!)” David Callaghan, SOLSTICE Fellow, Learning Technology Development Officer
“Excellent, hands on workshop with friendly and engaging instructors. Feel much more confident about taking a wheel out and maintaining my bike so it lasts as long as possible!” Julia Dickinson, Environmental Coordinator
“The workshop was really good and I learned loads, it really has given me more confidence in using my bike to travel to and from work more often.” Trish Byrne, Professional Development Admin Team Leader
“The maintenance workshop was really useful. I would feel confident fixing a puncture and have even tampered with my gears, not successfully at first but I got there in the end!” Joanna MacSween, Student Support Officer
